Be a Hero 5k
Be a hero in the eyes of Cunningham kids!
Heroes have made such a big impact at Cunningham that our Be a Hero 5K now occurs annually and we are excited to invite you to this year's event.
Join us on Saturday, October 4, 2025 for the 5th Annual Be a Hero 5K. This year's race will take place on Cunningham's campus and will be miles of fun benefitting a great cause! This year's event includes “The Flash” race for all 5K runners and a “ Hulk” walk for all 5K walkers. So, you can Be a Hero no matter your skill level. Special awards and recognition will be given for both.
Special Olympics Illinois Region I Bowling Competition
Date: August 23rd & 24th.
Location: Western Bowl and Arrowhead Lanes, Champaign-Urbana.
Volunteers: Needed, no experience necessary, according to Special Olympics Illinois Region I.
